Diego Costa scored a gravity-defying overhead kick last night

The Brazilian-born Spanish international netted the pick of Atletico Madrid’s seven goals.

ATLETICO MADRID RAN up a nasty score on hapless Getafe last night and Diego Costa scored the pick of the goals.

David Villa and Raul Garcia scored twice as Atlético rocked in five second-half goals in a 7-0 victory. Brazilian-born Costa, who recently declared for Spain, set the game alight with a gravity-defying overhead kick.

I remember Linekar tweeting that Spurs may have finally found a top class manager who knew what he was doing when they won their first 2 games ………… Don’t look that way now.

I think he is a good manager but don’t think he has the players. Like Liverpool, they spent big but bought poor players and only have Adebayor as their first choice striker. Little or no chance of top 4.
