Robbie Brady and Ciaran Clark ruled out of Ireland squad

No replacements are being called up for the Latvia and Poland games, according to an FAI statement.

ROBBIE BRADY AND Ciaran Clark will miss Martin O’Neill’s first game as Ireland manager, with the duo ruled out of the upcoming Latvia and Poland friendlies.

Brady has a groin problem while Clark, who assistant manager Roy Keane watched in action yesterday, has a foot injury.

An FAI statement has said that there are no plans to call up replacements for the pair.

    It is a matter for the 4th official to control the process of substitutions. He seems to have been happy enough. There would be a very poor view taken of an objection on such flimsy and questionable grounds. Congratulations to Kilmacud Crokes and especially to Shane Walsh a great footballer. Hard luck Watty Graham’s The Glen.

    @Brendan Daniel Naughton: They had 17 on the field of play though.
