IT’S BEEN A hell of a week in the world of sport.
A new management team for Ireland, a new coach gets ready to make his bow with the Irish rugby team and the GAA’s All Star awards.
So, before we get caught up in another week of top, top top sporting action it’s well worth reflecting on the week that was.
Adrian McSweeney has this O’Neill/Keane sitcom sussed
Who’s the boss indeed. O’Neill could play Tony Danza and Roy Keane could be the young fella. We’d just have to find a hot bird to play the hot daughter role vacated by Allyssa Milano when she fecked off to Charmed…. Era go on, give it to Georgia Salpa, sure she nearly has as much experience as Roy ;)
Would be Irish managerial dream team.Would make for a great sitcom with great opening credits, O’Neill driving home , d other two up to hi-jinks in the house! Would be great!
Rob Reilly has fond memories of former Samoa captain Peter ‘Fats’ Fatialofa
Really sound guy. Had a few pints with him in the BVI. he played a charity game at 49 and scored the winning try down the wing. #hero
Some bloke called C reacts to the brilliant FAI Cup final by picking at some old wounds
Didn’t see the match, but I assume Joe Sheridan will again be blamed for a Louth team losing from a winning position.
After the FAI Cup medals were mistakenly labelled Silgo Rovers, somebody (possibly from Waterford) calling themselves OBrizzler has a solution.
I think if we diverted more money away from grass roots football and paid John Delaney more, this type of mistake would never have happened.
Colin Murphy has a right to be skeptical after hearing Tiger Woods fired a shot across continents
Hopefully he hit his ball from the correct spot.
We were all briefly overexcited about the news Pamela Anderson had finished the New York Marathon
Dermot O’Dwyer has a plan to develop hurling outside of Clare
There should be some kinda awards ceremony to honour the struggling, weak and up coming counties like Tipperary,Kilkenny and Galway.
David O’Sullivan clarifies the suggestion that the youngest All Black leads the Haka
It’s not like minding the Lions mascot!
Sean Barber has an excellent question before we start looking into who ‘qualifies’ to play for Ireland
Does the FAI need to contact the grannies first? I wonder if they have any say in this.
