DANIEL FLYNN IS finding his feet down under.
The Kildare youngster met the Australian media today for the first time since his move to join AFL side Port Adelaide.
He fielded questions about his home near Johnstownbridge — “10 minutes away from a small village in the middle of nowhere where the roads get narrower and narrower the closer you get to my house” — and his parents’ reaction when he left for Oz.
“Ma and Da were both crying at the airport when I left,” he told the club website, “but both of them understand what this opportunity means and both said I had to go.
“I’ll be using a lot of Snapchat, Facebook and Twitter!”
