11-YEAR-OLD Armagh native Jay Beatty was at Celtic Park to receive his SPFL goal of the month award today.
Jay, who has Down’s Syndrome, was recently announced as the winner of the January competition, after putting the ball in the back of the net during half-time of Celtic’s 2-0 win away to Hamilton, winning by a landslide with 97% of the votes.
He then repeated the trick ahead of Celtic’s clash with Aberdeen today, which the hosts ultimately won 4-0.

The avid Celtic fan is already an internet sensation, after footage of him passionately celebrating a goal by ex-Celtic player Georgios Samaras at last summer’s World Cup went viral.

He also got the chance to meet Ireland assistant boss Roy Keane, who was seemingly at the game to watch Aberdeen’s freescoring Irish striker Adam Rooney.
