LIMERICK’S BID TO appeal the result of their All-Ireland minor hurling semi-final has failed after the DRA last night ruled against them.
Limerick were defeated by Galway in last month’s clash after extra-time but controversy erupted after a Hawk-Eye malfunction resulted in an early point by Barry Nash being ruled out.
Limerick appealed to the CCCC and CAC but both were turned down which lead to the county taking their case to the Disputes Resolution Authority in Tullamore last night.
But Limerick’s appeal was turned down and the decision now means that Limerick have now exhausted all the avenues of appeal left to them.
Galway will now face Waterford in next Sunday’s All-Ireland minor hurling decider in Croke Park with last night’s decision has been confirmed by a statement that has been released on the DRA website:
