STRIKER LUIS SUAREZ has been ruled out of Liverpool’s trip to Norway for tomorrow’s friendly game with Valerenga due to a foot injury, the Premier League club revealed this afternoon.
Liverpool said the Uruguay international would remain in England “as a precaution following an injury in training yesterday (Monday)”.
He was due to undergo a scan on his foot later today. Suarez, 26, has been linked with a move away from Liverpool and has been the subject of two unsuccessful bids from Arsenal in recent weeks.
Defenders Daniel Agger, Martin Skrtel and Glen Johnson will also miss the trip to Norway with what the club have described as “knocks”.
