As he walked out from the tunnel, ahead of his team-mates, he caught a glimpse of the huge banner that covered a large section of the ground and his reaction was priceless.

It was an incredible atmosphere inside the iconic stadium as Barca fans gave the 35 year-old a momentous send-off.
With 85 minutes gone, Xavi was replaced and received a rapturous reception. Clearly emotional, he struggled to hold back the tears once he took his place on the bench.
