Fans from across the world paid a combined $12.6 million for tickets, making it the highest-grossing wrestling event in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) history.
Across Ireland, hardy fans stayed up from midnight until after 3am to watch the wrestling world’s equivalent to the SuperBowl.
In Dublin’s Woolshed bar, 600 people packed the place out to watch the event unfold. And yes, all of them know it’s not real.

Randy Orton hit an RKO outta nowhere on Seth Rollins to win.

Triple H’s mates Degeneration X came out.
But then, so did Sting’s former colleagues (and nemeses, but ignore that) the NWO, including Hulk Hogan and one of the guys from Magic Mike.
In the end, Triple H won.
Then, four women, three of whom star on WWE’s reality show Total Divas had a match.
AJ Lee and English wrestler Paige won, beating the evil Bella Twins.
A bad Russian called Rusev brought a tank to the ring.
But he wasn’t a match for WWE and America’s golden boy, John Cena.

He then unloaded on his former nemesis, with a little help from UFC women’s champion Ronda Rousey.
The Undertaker made his comeback aged 50 and beat a creepy witch doctor named Bray Wyatt.
In the main event, former UFC Heavyweight champion and defending WWE World Heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar took on The Rock’s cousin Roman Reigns.

For a fake fight, it was pretty vicious.
But Rollins, who was entitled to a title match whenever he wanted, came down and put himself in the match, getting the win and the belt.
