Good afternoon! After 63 matches, 170 goals and one now infamous biting incident, we’ve arrived at World Cup final day.
James Rodriguez’s sumptuous volley, Tim Howard’s incredible display against Germany, Kenny Cunningham and Richie Sadlier’s arguments and Argentina boss Alejandro Sabella’s comical fall are some of my favourite moments from this tournament.
COMPETITION TIME! With thanks to the good folk at Budweiser, we’re giving away, not one, but two of these snazzy Sony tablets.
To celebrate World Cup Final night, we want you the reader to sum up the whole tournament in three words in our comments section or on Twitter.
Before a ball was kicked, we also asked you to predict the winning team and top scorer and we’ll be announcing that winner after the final whistle tonight.

Remember Argentina and Germany met in the World Cup final 24 years ago? Andreas Brehme’s 85th-minute penalty was enough for the West Germans in Rome’s Stadio Olimpico.
