Poll: Who do you think will win the Six Nations?

England are the favourites but can Ireland dethrone Eddie Jones’ men?

IT’S THAT TIME of the year again, and the excitement is building ahead of the opening weekend of the 2017 Six Nations.

As always, there are so many intriguing subplots set to be played out over the course of the next two months but at the end of the day it’s all about who will be lifting the trophy come 18 March.

England are the holders having won the Grand Slam last year and Eddie Jones’ men are the bookmaker’s favourites again this year having gone through 2016 unbeaten.

Ireland, however, will be confident of dethroning them to regain the title they won back-to-back in 2014 and 2015.

It’s four years since Wales reigned supreme while France’s last Six Nations win came in 2010.

Can Joe Schmidt’s side win the spoils or will it be England’s championship again?
