The plot thickened this afternoon, as 13th place Chelsea dealt a blow to the Gunners title hopes with a 1-0 victory at the Emirates, meaning Leicester will spend the weekend three points clear at the top.
People were more likely to tip Claudio Ranieri’s side as relegation contenders at the start of the season, but after yesterday’s 3-0 victory over Stoke, many critics are finally starting to consider them serious contenders for the league.

A Dele Alli-inspired Tottenham also boosted their hopes of prevailing, as they beat Crystal Palace 3-1 while, while Man City are now second on goal difference following a hard-fought 2-2 draw against West Ham at Upton Park.
