An nice enough kit, but it's the video that's baffling us. Inpho/Billy Stickland

West Brom's promo video for their new kit has us scratching our heads

So bad it’s actually good.

IT’S THE THOUGHT that counts, but allowing the work experience kid plan the launch of your new football kit probably isn’t the wisest option.

West Brom revealed their new kit this morning, going back to their traditional navy and white stripes after the pinstriped effort last season.

The kit itself is nothing to write home about, a standard navy and white adidas template, with a bit of red trim thrown in. Fairly inoffensive and unspectacular.

But it’s the promotional video that they’ve put together that’s grabbing the headlines, and with good reason.

Just 12 seconds of the 55 second clip is in any way related to the release of the new kit, with the opening 43 seconds simply just a clip of them conceding a penalty and getting a red card against Manchester City last year.

Go figure.

Don’t worry, we haven’t a clue what’s going on either.
