Wes Hoolahan scored an outrageous goal today for Norwich

A bit of absolute magic from the Ireland playmaker against Nottingham Forest at Carrow Road.

NORWICH CITY WERE 5-1 winners at home to Nottingham Forest today and Ireland’s Wes Hoolahan got in on the goalscoring act in the 18th minute.

Hoolahan lobbed fellow Irishman Stephen Henderson — who had to be stretchered off with an Achilles injury five minutes later — from about 30 yards out to put the Canaries 3-0 up.

Having said that, it wasn’t even the best goal scored by Norwich today. That honour went to Jonathan Howson, who opened the scoring in the 10th minute with this ridiculous volley.
