Hoolahan has said he is relishing the opportunity to ply his trade in the top-flight again and if he can produce goals like this when the campaign gets under-way, he’ll make a major impression.
After latching onto a through-ball, the Dubliner composed himself but delicately lifting the ball over the goalkeeper to set Alex Neil’s side on the way to an encouraging win.
Speaking after the game, Hoolahan heaped praise on his new club team-mate.
“He’s got a fantastic delivery and is very comfortable on the ball whether he plays left-back or left-midfield,” he said of Brady.
“I’m sure he’ll be a great addition to the squad. In training, you can see the quality the new players have brought.
“The Premier League is tough, but we’re confident in giving a good account of ourselves.”
