WATERFORD HOPE TOMORROW night to end a barren spell in Munster U21 hurling that stretches all the way back to 1994.
The Deise have only won three provincial crowns at this level and aim to add a fourth in tomorrow’s Bord Gáis Energy Munster U21 hurling decider in Walsh Park at 7pm.
They’ve unveiled their starting fifteen for the game against Tipperary and it’s unchanged from that which saw off Clare in their recent semi-final.
There are five senior players who featured in last Sunday’s game against Wexford named to start tomorrow night in Conor Gleeson, Austin Gleeson, Patrick Curran and the Bennett brothers – Shane and Stephen.
There are 11 survivors from the starting Waterford All-Ireland minor winning team in the 2013 final against Galway with Conor Gleeson having come on as a sub in that match. Goalkeeper Jordan Henley, corner-back Darragh Lyons and wing-back Conor Prunty the three newcomers.

Must be a comedy play about this side. Plenty of material since ’66. BAGS in fact. Tragic comedy I’d imagine. That 30 years of hurt bit was pure gold. Still is haha.
