On the AIB All-Ireland club stage yesterday:

• Ballyboden St Enda’s saw off Clonmel Commercials after extra-time to reach the senior club football final.
• And Castlebar Michels are also heading to Croke Park on St Patrick’s Day after accounting for competition specialists Crossmaglen Rangers.

There was some significant action in the Allianz Hurling Leagues last night:

• Tipperary enjoyed a big win over Dublin at Semple Stadium
• And in Division 1B, Limerick were too good for Wexford at the Gaelic Grounds

Tipperary manager Michael Ryan was pleased with his side’s efforts last night, with Dublin boss Ger Cunningham left deflated.

We’ll be back in plenty of time for throw-in in all of the various games. Meanwhile, Cork’s ladies senior footballers have managed to secure their first victory in Division 1 of the Lidl National League, under the stewardship of new manager Ephie Fitzgerald.

It’s also half-time in the Lidl Ladies NFL Division 1 game between Armagh and Kerry, where hosts Armagh lead by 3-5 to 0-9.
