GAA clubs pay tribute to Waterford man who dies in Thailand drowning incident

The victim was a native of Dungarvan.

GAA CLUBS IN Waterford have paid tribute tonight after a local young man died in a tragic drowning incident in Thailand.

The incident happened on the island of Koh Samui, a popular destination in Thailand for tourists.

The young man has been named locally as David Houlihan from Dungarvan.

A member of the Dungarvan GAA club, he was part of their senior hurling squad that reached the 2012 Waterford county final against De La Salle.

As well as his local GAA club, the Waterford county board and severl other GAA clubs in the county have also aid tribute to Houlihan.
