WARREN GATLAND HAD the last laugh in his row with the New Zealand media this morning, the Lions coaching showing up to his post-match press conference wearing a red clown nose.

Gatland came under fire after the Lions lost their first Test against the All Blacks — a game in which he felt that Conor Murray had been cynically targeted — and was mocked up as a clown on the front page of the New Zealand Herald.
But after bouncing back to win the second Test in Wellington last week, the Lions fought out a 15-15 draw back in the Eden Park decider to ensure that the series finished in a tie.
There were chuckles from the media, and Gatland removed the nose before taking questions.
