THIS IS NOT soccer, we hear time and again. But sometimes, it’s nice to see some football skills put to good use on the rugby field.

At Twickenham, the biggest game of the Rugby World Cup was, if not decided then certainly swung by a through ball that Rivaldo would have been proud to call his own.

With time ticking down, Wales made England’s hard-won seven-point advantage vanish in a puff of smoke when replacement scrum-half (playing on the wing because of the Welsh injury crisis) Lloyd Williams spotted the acre of space in front of England’s posts and delivered the ball for Gareth Davies to chase.
