The Vikings' perfect season is dead

The Eagles beat the Vikings 21-10 early on Sunday evening.

THE MINNESOTA VIKINGS, the NFL’s last remaining undefeated team, have lost.

Coming off a bye week, the Vikings were beaten 21-10 at the Philadelphia Eagles in Sunday’s early games.

Sam Bradford, traded from the Eagles to the Vikings on the eve of the new season, couldn’t get his offence going and when Carson Wentz threw a five-yard touchdown to Dorial Green-Beckham in the third quarter, the Eagles led 18-3 and closed out the win.

“It was a disappointing day today,” Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer said. “Embarrassing really is the word.”

The Vikings fall to 5-1 while the Eagles are now 4-2.

Also improving to 4-2 were the Kansas City Chiefs, who beat the New Orleans Saints 27-21 while Latavius Murray rushed for 59 yards and two touchdowns as the Oakland Raiders beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 33-16 on the road and took their record to 5-2.
