MANCHESTER UNITED’S REMARKABLE comeback win over Middlesborough earlier even inspired Olympic legend and nine-time gold medallist Usain Bolt to contact MUTV post-match.

Many fans, even presenter Mandy Henry, found it hard to believe that it was Bolt himself on the line, but he later confirmed that it was him on his Twitter account.

Goals from Anthony Martial and Paul Pogba within the final five minutes cancelled out Grant Leadbitter’s strike and got United over the line to snatch all three points at Old Trafford.

Lifelong United fan Bolt was so moved by the win, which takes the club within a point of the top four, that he decided to phone in and sing his favourite side’s praises.

“It’s not Usain Bolt is it?” Henry joked as she answered the call. “It is Usain Bolt, it is Mr Bolt,” he responded.

“They came through, they pushed hard and persevered. The Manchester United way, it was a great match. I’m very happy about it.”

Henry then asked Bolt about his New Year’s Eve plans, but the Jamaican revealed he would be enjoying a quiet night at home
