The Undertaker was in the building as Cleveland opened their NBA title defence

The Dead Man was the Cavs’ guest of honour last night.

IT WAS A big night for Cleveland last night.

Forget the World Series or the Cavs opening their NBA title defence with a win — the big news was that WWE legend The Undertaker was in town.

Taker (real name Mark Calaway) was on hand for the Cavs’ title celebrations, and he was joined by Dana Warrior, widow of wrestling icon the Ultimate Warrior.

If this all sounds a little bit strange, well, yes — but there’s an explanation.

With the Cavs trailing Golden State 3-1 in last season’s NBA Finals, LeBron James was pictured wearing an Undertaker t-shirt. You know, back from the dead and all that jazz.

And after LeBron inspired the Cavs to an unlikely comeback and the city’s first major sporting title in 52 years, he swapped that shirt for an Ultimate Warrior one to wear to their homecoming party.
