SOUTH AFRICAN INTERNATIONAL Marcell Coetzee will make his long-awaited debut for Ulster in tomorrow night’s Guinness Pro12 meeting with ninth-placed Edinburgh at Kingspan Stadium [KO 7.35pm, BBC Sport NI].
Coeztee, capped 28 times for the Springboks, has been sidelined with a knee injury since joining the northern province last summer. However, he’s included in Les Kiss’ starting line-up for the visit of the Scottish outfit to Belfast, where sixth-placed Ulster will look to avoid a fifth consecutive defeat in all competitions.
There’s also a first Ulster appearance in 14 months for out-half Peter Nelson, who hasn’t played due to injury since December 2015. Stuart Olding returns from injury to play for the first time since October, while Stuart McCloskey and Tommy Bowe have both been released by the Irish management to start on the bench.
