Conor McGregor still isn't top of the UFC's pound-for-pound rankings

Flyweight champ Demetrious ‘Mighty Mouse’ Johnson remains the UFC’s top fighter.

CONOR MCGREGOR MADE history as the UFC’s first simultaneous two-weight champion last weekend, but there is still one man deemed to be better than him in the pound-for-pound rankings.

McGregor moved up two places to second after winning the lightweight title with a devastating second-round stoppage of Eddie Alvarez in Madison Square Garden.

But flyweight champion Demetrious ‘Mighty Mouse’ Johnson remains in place at the top of the P4P charts.

Johnson has successfully defended his 125lb title eight times, the longest active championship reign in the UFC.

Dominick Cruz, Daniel Cormier and Jose Aldo round out the current P4P top five.

Meanwhile, Khabib Nurmagomedov has established himself as the number one contender for McGregor’s newly-won lightweight crown.

Khabib’s submission win against Michael Johnson at UFC 205 saw him leapfrog Tony Ferguson in the latest rankings.
