Things got pretty heated between Aldo and McGregor in Boston last night

Dana White had his hands full in keeping them apart.

ON OUR SCORECARD, Conor McGregor comfortably won the opening rounds of the psychological warfare with Jose Aldo.

However, we reckon the champion may have pulled one back when the pair had another staredown in Boston last night.

Earlier this week, Aldo’s camp warned UFC president Dana White to make sure that McGregor doesn’t touch the Brazilian at any stage during their 12-day media tour, which ends in Dublin next Tuesday.

Well, White had has hands full in doing so last night, as things got pretty heated between the featherweight rivals, who’ll battle for the world title at UFC 189 in Las Vegas on 11 July.

Did McGregor let his emotions get the better of him on this occasion, or is it all part of the plan to aggravate his opponent? Nice arm-drag on Dana, though. Who said ‘The Notorious’ couldn’t grapple?

The UFC has also released episode four of their latest ‘Embedded’ series, which sees McGregor and Aldo meeting the Mayor of Las Vegas before continuing on to Los Angeles for their next round of media obligations. You can watch it here.
