DUBLIN WILL PLAY host to the Ultimate Fighting Championship for the third time later this year.
It’s been confirmed today — as was first reported here on The42 back in March — that a UFC Fight Night event will take place at the 3Arena on Saturday, 24 October.

The event will be the UFC’s first in Ireland since last July, when Conor McGregor defeated Diego Brandao via first-round TKO at the same venue.
No fights have been announced as of yet. McGregor is unlikely to be on the bill this time, but the event should feature other Irish stars such as Joseph Duffy, Cathal Pendred and Neil Seery.
“Ireland has been such an important market to the UFC and we couldn’t let a year go by without delivering another spectacular event for the fans in the capital,” said Joe Carr, the UFC’s Vice President of International.
“We’re looking forward to showcasing both local and international talent at the event and hopefully getting the decibel counter higher this year round.”
Tickets will go on general sale at midday on Friday, 4 September.
