UFC 196 AT THE MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas is just days away and the definitive preview of the main event aired last night in the US on FOX Sports 1.

UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor will make the move up to welterweight to face Nate Diaz in Saturday night’s headliner, with Holly Holm defending her UFC women’s bantamweight title against Miesha Tate in the co-feature bout.

In typical fashion, the UFC has already released an abundance of video material to promote McGregor’s latest outing, but Countdown to UFC 196 probably stands out as the one you shouldn’t miss if you have any interest in this weekend’s fight.

The show charts McGregor’s rise to the top of the 145lbs division, as well as the circumstances surrounding last week’s injury withdrawal of lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos, who was originally due to be McGregor’s opponent on Saturday.

It also features some interesting behind-the-scenes footage of the 27-year-old Irish star’s training camp in Dublin, which was filmed before he departed for the US ten days ago.
