There are now eight fights on the Aldo vs. McGregor card and it looks superb

12 December can’t come soon enough.

THE UFC ARE pulling out all the stops as they assemble the card for UFC 194, which will be headlined by Jose Aldo and Conor McGregor.

The rivals will clash in a featherweight title unification bout in Las Vegas on 12 December, with middleweight champion Chris Weidman defending his title against Luke Rockhold in the co-main event.

A number one contender bout in the 185lbs division, involving Ronaldo ‘Jacare’ Souza and Yoel Romero, is also part of the stacked bill for the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

As of today, there are now eight fights confirmed for the card following the addition of a lightweight contest between Joe Proctor and Magomed Mustafaev.

With at least four more fights likely to be confirmed, here’s how UFC 194 looks so far:

Jose Aldo vs. Conor McGregor
Chris Weidman vs. Luke Rockhold
Yoel Romero vs. Ronaldo Souza
Warlley Alves vs. Colby Covington
Marcio Alexandre Jr. vs. Court McGee
John Makdessi vs. Yancy Medeiros
Kevin Lee vs. Leonardo Santos
Magomed Mustafaev vs. Joe Proctor

The finale for the 22nd season of The Ultimate Fighter is also scheduled to take place the night before [Friday, 11 December], for which these three excellent bouts have all been confirmed:

Tony Ferguson vs. Khabib Nurmagomedov
Joe Lauzon vs. Evan Dunham
Mike Pierce vs. Ryan LaFlare

It’s shaping up to be an unmissable MMA weekend in Vegas.
