CONOR McGREGOR’S UFC featherweight title shot is just over five weeks away, but Chael Sonnen believes it won’t end well for the Dubliner.
McGregor will take on defending champion Jose Aldo in the main event at UFC 189 in Las Vegas on Saturday, 11 July.

Many experts are tipping McGregor to end Aldo’s ten-year undefeated run when the pair lock horns at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
However, Sonnen isn’t one of them. In fact, the former UFC middleweight and light-heavyweight title challenger has told ‘The Jon Anik and Kenny Florian Podcast’ that it should be an easy night for the champion.
Sonnen, who’s currently serving a two-year suspension from mixed martial arts due to multiple failed drug tests, said: “I’ve never totally been on the McGregor bandwagon. I love the entertainment value, I don’t necessarily buy into the skillset.
“I don’t think it’s a close fight. I just think Aldo runs through him. That’s not a knock to Conor, I just have that much respect for Aldo.”
