WITH JUST FOUR days to go until they meet for the interim UFC featherweight title, Conor McGregor delivers a message to Chad Mendes in the latest episode of UFC 189 Embedded.
The bout will headline Saturday’s event at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, where McGregor has been in training camp since early May.
Episode five of Embedded, for what is being billed as the biggest UFC event of the year, features footage of the Irish star training with SBG team-mate Artem Lobov.
“When you come up against me with a singular approach, it’s not enough,” McGregor says. “If I was to give him [Mendes] some advice, it would be to have a back-up plan.”
Meanwhile, Mendes is also shown being put through his paces by his Team Alpha Male colleagues in Sacramento: “My kids are going to look back on this and say my dad was a part of the biggest fight in UFC history.”
