'I had butterflies all week' - Jackie Tyrrell and MDMA recall their debs nights

Stick to the GAA, lads.

“I WAS SO nervous, I had butterflies all week,” says Michael Darragh MacAuley.

“The pressure was immense. I knew that all eyes would be on me, scrutinising me,” adds Jackie Tyrrell.

The two GAA stars weren’t talking about their inter-county debuts however, but recalling the pressure of their debs nights.

MacAuley and Tyrrell are ambassadors for Electric Ireland’s #ThisIsMajor campaign to promote the All-Ireland minor hurling final between Galway and Tipperary on 6 September. The message is that “life is full of major moments.”
