  • It was a busy day of squad announcements as both Wales and Scotland revealed their panels for the Six Nations.
  • Tiger Woods would have hoped to stay away from the cameras when he went to watch girlfriend Lindsey Vonn at the World Cup ski race but he couldn’t escape one lens in particular.
  • Former Arsenal striker Gervinho was sent-off as a star-studded Ivory Coast could only manage a draw with Guinea at the AFCON.

Anna Geary has praised her team mate Valerie Mulachy for her bravery and courage in discussing her sexuality publicly.

Where we were today

Fintan O’Toole was at the Smock Alley Theatre in Dublin for the launch of the Women’s Gaelic Player Association.
