On the verge: Manchester United’s summer spending spree is set to continue, with Lazio’s Lucas Biglia on the verge of completing a €25m move for the defensive midfielder, according to the Express.

New bid: Manchester City may have looked good last night, but they’re still eager to add Wolfsburg’s Kevin De Bruyne. City upped their bid to €66m, and the Mirror say the Belgian is going to demand that he be transferred.

Back from the dead: Stoke City will wrap up a club-record €17m deal for Swiss international Xherdan Shaqiri today, after he completed a medical and personal terms with the club yesterday, according to the Star.

Take it or leave it: Real Madrid will make one final offer for Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea, in the region of €30m, according to The Star.

No deal: Everton are going reject yet another Chelsea bid for centre back John Stones, with the improved €42m still not enough to tempt the Toffees, according to the Daily Mail.

Out the gap: Lucas Leiva’s time at Anfield looks to be at an end, with Liverpool welcoming offeres for the Brazilian midfielder. Inter Milam are the favourites according to The Mirror.

Next on the list: Arsenal are refusing to meet Real Madrid’s asking price for Karim Benzema, so have instead turned their attentions to PSG’s Uruguayan striker Edinson Cavani.

Spurs looking for goals: Tottenham Hotspur are hoping to close in on the signing of Cameroonian striker Clinton N’Jie from Lyon, but are still keeping tabs on Sadio Berahino and Javier Hernandez, so say the Telegraph. 

Missing out: It looks like Liverpool will miss out on a target, with PSG left back Lucas Digne set to join Roma. Football Italia say the 22-year-old will wrap up his move in the coming days.
