This stunning try-saving tackle prevented a brilliant break-out score

Moses Mbye of the Bulldogs pulled off an heroic tackle in the NRL yesterday.

ANYONE WHO WAS keeping an eye on the NRL over the weekend might have seen this stunning try-saving tackle by Moses Mbye yesterday, but for those who haven’t it’s well worth watching.

The Bulldogs’ Mbye ran an incredible diagonal line over more than 80 metres to somehow stop the Titans getting in in the left-hand corner through Brad Tighe.

It was a stunning dummy, break and long pass from James Roberts that set the Titans on the attack from deep and had Tighe managed to dive over to score, it would have been a contender for try of the season along with the Broncos’ memorable effort against the Raiders last month.

Though the Titans went on to win 28-14 in their clash with the Bulldogs, Mbye showed the value of anticipating the danger early and never giving up.
