David Luiz paid further tribute in his post match interview.

"I prefer to give this victory for the people dying in Brazil," he told reporters.

"Because it was a difficult week for us, especially emotionally, I had some friends there. It was difficult to prepare the head to play this kind of game, but now I think we just have to pray for the families.

"It’s difficult at the moment for everybody."

White Hart Lane, Britannia Stadium and Cardiff City Stadium were among other venues that hosted heartfelt tributes, while Blackburn also stood in solidarity with Chapecoense.
