The only name in town on Tuesday afternoon was James Rodriguez. The Colombian re-joined ex-boss Carlo Anchelotti at Bayern Munich on a two year loan deal after falling out of favor with Zinedine Zidane at Real Madrid.
Meanwhile Liverpool made their second signing of the window with the aquisition of England U20 prospect Dominic Solanke from Chelsea.
But in the land of uncertainty, speculation, incomplete moves and unsigned contracts, the future of Alexis Sanchez has become a topic of discussion yet again.
