TOTTENHAM HAVE CLAIMED a 4-1 win over Manchester City in today’s early Premier League kick-off.
City’s recent signing Kevin de Bruyne scored his third goal in as many starts for the club on 25 minutes — shooting low past Hugo Lloris. However, the Belgian was marginally offside when the ball was played in by Yaya Toure.

The home side drew level just before the break. Goalkeeper Willy Caballero pulled off a terrific save after Kyle Walker had crossed for Son Heung-min, before Eric Dier drilled the ball in off the post.
Again, officials failed to spot that Walker had trailed into an offside position.

The second half was just five minutes old when Spurs defender Toby Alderweireld headed home from a free-kick on the right to hand Mauricio Pochettino’s men a slender lead.
And Harry Kane finally ended his barren run by scoring his first goal in Spurs colours this season just after the hour mark. Christian Eriksen’s brilliant free-kick rattled the crossbar and the English striker followed up to nonchalantly dispatch the rebound.
Incredibly, Erik Lamela kept his composure to put the Londoners 4-1 up with 11 minutes on the clock.
