Tommy Walsh to quit Kerry panel over lack of game time - reports

The forward has become frustrated with sitting on the bench.

KERRY MANAGER EAMONN Fitzmaurice is set to lose the services of Tommy Walsh with the player ready to quit the senior panel, according to reports.

The Irish Examiner reports the forward has become frustrated with a lack of game time and will walk away from the inter-county set-up.

Walsh was an unused substitute during last Sunday’s Allianz League final defeat to Dublin at Croke Park and it appears the 28-year-old has lost patience with the management.

The Kerins O’Rahilly’s man returned from Australia for the 2015 season but has found regular starts difficult to come by and only featured twice from the outset in the recent league campaign.
