FLANKERS TOMMY O’DONNELL and Dan Leavy have been ruled out of Ireland’s second November Test clash with Fiji, leading to call-ups for Jordi Murphy and Sean Reidy.
Leavy and O’Donnell were both marked injured last Tuesday with respective hamstring and shoulder complaints keeping them out of Saturday’s 38 – 3 win over South Africa.
Tighthead John Ryan has joined Keith Earls in heading for treatment with Munster, the prop picked up a calf injury in the record victory over the Springboks. However, there will be no front row replacement called in, leaving Andrew Porter and Tadhg Furlong as the only tightheads listed in Joe Schmidt’s squad.
Peter O’Mahony, who was the first man called ashore on Saturday evening, received stitches to his ear after suffering a cut during the match.
