Is another Manchester United youngster about to make a name for himself today?

Timothy Fosu-Mensah is 18 and joined from Ajax’s academy in 2014

FRESH ON THE heels of Marcus Rashford’s immense senior debut last Thursday, there’s another youngster about to be included in the Manchester United squad for the first time.

And the way in which injuries are decimating Louis van Gaal’s side in recent weeks, he may be called upon sooner rather than later.

Timothy Fosu-Mensah is 18 and joined from Ajax’s academy in 2014.

The Dutchman has been used in a variety of roles for the club’s u-21 side, including right-back and centre half but is considered a central midfielder by trade.

It’s expected that Fosu-Mensah will be named on the bench for United’s clash with Arsenal at Old Trafford later today.
