FORMER GERMANY INTERNATIONAL goalkeeper Tim Wiese is set to make his official debut with World Wrestling Entertainment [WWE] on 3 November.
WWE announced today that the 34-year-old will join Sheamus and Cesaro to form a three-man tag-team which will face ‘The Shining Stars’ in a six-man clash at Munich’s Olympiahalle.
“What a great way to make my debut!” said Wiese, whose last professional football match was with Hoffenheim in January 2013. “I worked hard for this moment and can’t wait to get in the ring with Cesaro and Sheamus.”
Wiese, who made nearly 200 appearances for Werder Bremen, was capped six times by Germany and was a member of their 2010 World Cup squad.

He announced his retirement from professional football in September 2014.
