Do you agree with The Sunday Game’s man-of-the-match selection?

Rory O’Carroll, Brian Fenton and Philly McMahon were the candidates from the Montrose panel.

RTÉ’S SUNDAY GAME panel have selected Brian Fenton as their All-Ireland final man-of-the-match.

“I remember him growing up in the club,” said former Dublin star and clubmate of Fenton’s, Ciarán Whelan.

“He was on a special team that came through to Raheny and I’m sure the clubhouse is rocking now. His mother Marian I’m sure is looking down on him tonight. As Pat says, his dad’s from Kerry. Great kid.

“What I loved about him when he came on the Dublin scene is that eh just kept things simple.”

Fenton scored one point for the Dubs today.

What do you make of the decision?

Obviously he isn’t going to write off the Arsenal game publicly but privately he’ll be gearing his players up for a cup final effort against Palace tomorrow. Would be lovely to get it done tomorrow and enjoy a first stress free weekend in months.
