“I remember him growing up in the club,” said former Dublin star and clubmate of Fenton’s, Ciarán Whelan.
“He was on a special team that came through to Raheny and I’m sure the clubhouse is rocking now. His mother Marian I’m sure is looking down on him tonight. As Pat says, his dad’s from Kerry. Great kid.
“What I loved about him when he came on the Dublin scene is that eh just kept things simple.”
