And the former WWE star doesn’t think the Dubliner is a jabroni or a roodypoo candyass. In fact, he seems to be a big fan of the man who’ll take on defending UFC featherweight world champion Jose Aldo in Las Vegas on Saturday, 11 July.

Mike Sheridan from Entertainment.ie was fortunate enough to speak to Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson about his new movie San Andreas, and he made sure to ask him about the most talked-about man in mixed martial arts.
“With Conor, I love that guy,” said Johnson. “I love Aldo too, by the way. I respect these fighters so incredibly much and I love UFC. I think it’s going to be an amazing fight.
“Everyone has a punching chance and Conor ain’t no joke. He’s a bad dude and Aldo is a bad dude. So you’re going to have two bad dudes basically who are going to go at it.
“What I love about Conor is the same thing, by the way, I love about Aldo. Aldo, there’s a quiet confidence. And Conor, the confidence is not quiet, and it reminds me of how I was in the WWE. I was bold and talking shit. He backs it up.”
