Watch: The goals that sealed a victory for Cork City in the Europa League tonight

Garry Buckley and Steven Beattie were on target as the Leesiders earned a deserved win.

CORK CITY EARNED a hard-fought but ultimately deserved 2-0 victory over Levadia Tallinn in the first leg of their Europa League first round qualifier in Pärnu, Estonia this evening.

The visitors capitalised after Luc Tabi Manga was shown a second yellow card for being adjudged to have brought down Sean Maguire.

Garry Buckley’s subsequent well-executed free kick gave the League of Ireland table-toppers the lead, before a glorious finish by substitute Steven Beattie from the edge of the area ensured a Cork victory on the night and some breathing space ahead of next Thursday’s second leg at Turner’s Cross.
