Dara Ó Cinnéide will be joined by well-known guests on Friday night.

It was announced in February that the popular show would be axed following a decision made by the new TG4 chief executive Alan Esslemont.

GAA BEO presenter Micheál Ó Domhnaill was the original presenter of the programme before Kerry All-Ireland football winner Dara Ó Cinnéide took over in 2009.

Ó Cinnéide will also be joined on Friday night by Ó Domhnaill, Seán Bán Breathnach and former Wexford hurler Diarmuid Lyng.

The panel are set to look ahead to Saturday’s EirGrid All-Ireland U21 football final between Dublin and Galway, and this year’s All-Ireland senior football championship.

The final show will be broadcast at 9.45pm on Friday night on TG4 and repeated on Saturday morning at 11.10am.
