FAUGHEEN WAS SIMPLY unstoppable once again as he romped to the 10th straight win of his unbeaten career.
Willie Mullins’ machine made all the running and then cantered away to win the Punchestown Champion Hurdle, the feature race on day four.
The masterclass gave Ted Walsh an opportunity to wax lyrical about a genuine racing superstar, and he delivered in classic Ted Walsh form.
“If I had him at home, I’d find it hard not to go to bed with him,” he said on RTÉ.
Coming from a man who delivered the all-time classic “I rode her mother once,” we’re not in the slightest bit surprised.
Never change, Ted.
