Premier League flops Falcao and Balolelli make Twitter's team of the season #UwotM8?

A team of the season that features Cesc Fabregas, Alexis Sánchez and David De Gea also features Radamel Falcao and Mario Balotelli.

THE TWITTER DATA for the 2014/15 Premier League is out and the results are typically interesting.

The data examines how much people are tweeting about a particular player or team and even reveals a league table that is based solely on how many times each team has been tweeted about.

The results are quite predictable with both Mario Balotelli and Joey Barton featuring in the team of most talked-about footballers. It’s perhaps surprising that none of Steven Gerrard, Wayne Rooney or Yaya Toure have made the side, but Cesc Fabregas’ red card in the penultimate game of the season surely earned him plenty of mentions.

Vincent Kompany, Radamel Falcao and Balotelli all had extremely poor seasons, leading to plenty of people talking about them.
