LUIS SUAREZ AND Steven Gerrard were reunited last night in Los Angeles as Suarez’s Barcelona took on Gerrard’s LA Galaxy in the International Champions Cup pre-season tournament.

A crowd of 93,226 — a record for a game involving an MLS team — showed up at the Pasadena Rose Bowl to see Barca run out 2-1 winners thanks to goals from Suarez and Sergi Roberto.

Suarez gave the UEFA Champions League holders the lead on the stroke of half-time after being teed up by Bartra.
