As it happened: Stoke v Man United, Premier League

Stoke took on Man United, as the Red Devils looked to maintain their 100% Premier League record.

Kick of is at 5.30pm.

We’re under way…

Zouma has to make a last-ditch tackle to prevent Lukaku running through on goal.

Moments earlier, Choupo-Moting beat the visitors’ offside trap and got a glimpse at goal before being crowded out.

As I type, Jese fires a shot across goal.

It’s been a very lively opening.

It’s calmed down a bit after that frenetic opening.

Stoke are sitting back and allowing United to dominate possession.

It’s been a pretty uneventful last few minutes.

Both sides are currently cancelling each other out.

Choupo-Moting spots the goalkeeper off his line.

The attacker can’t find the target with his audacious effort, however.

Valencia finds Herrera, whose cross is badly overhit.

United have been disappointing in the final third so far.

Decent chance for United as Rashford makes an intelligent run in behind the defence.

The young striker forces a good save from Butland.

The ball falls to Shaqiri on the edge of the box.

His shot forces a good save from De Gea.

Shaqiri tests De Gea with another strike from distance.

The Swiss international is looking lively early on.

United have had the greater possession in this game, but Stoke have looked a bit more threatening.

As I type though, Zouma has to turn Valencia’s dangerous cross out for a corner.

Pogba is sporting his distinctive streak of red hair today.

Valencia is causing plenty of problems down the right at the moment.

He’s been United’s best attacking outlet so far.

Stoke aren’t holding onto the ball well enough at the moment.

United, without creating many clear-cut opportunities, are growing increasingly dominant in this game.

Mkhitaryan plays it through towards Rashford.

Zouma, however, matches the youngster for pace, and clears his lines.

STOKE 1-0 MAN UNITED (CHOUPO-MOTING 44)

STOKE 1-1 MAN UNITED (POGBA 45)

It’s been a crazy few minutes.

A corner is flicked on by Matic, and Pogba’s header deflects off Rashford and goes in.

Moments earlier, Choupo-Moting had turned in Diouf’s cross.

HALF-TIME: STOKE 1-1 MAN UNITED

So it’s been a fairly closely fought first half.

United have dominated possession and territory, but have struggled to open up the hosts for the most part.

Stoke have defended well, but with so little of the ball, will likely tire as the game develops.

Cameron is replaced by Martins Indi.

The US international pulled up injured in the first half, so it appears to be an enforced change due to injury.

The second half has begun…

Martins Indi cuts out a dangerous Mkhitaryan cross. The defender has made an important intervention already.

As I type, Pogba’s tame effort is comfortably saved by Butland.

Stoke have started the second half well.

Choupo-Moting runs menacingly towards the United defence, but an attempted one-two with Jese is cut out.

United have had 66% possession so far.

Stoke, however, have looked the more likely of the two sides to score in recent minutes.

Stoke break promisingly with good work by Joe Allen.

Darmian recovers well though, and Shaqiri ends up overhitting his cross.

STOKE 1-2 MAN UNITED (LUKAKU 57)

Joe Allen concedes possession far too easily and United break.

Darmian passes to Mkhitaryan, who plays a deft through ball to Lukaku, who slots it home at the second attempt, after a decent initial save by Butland.

STOKE 2-2 MAN UNITED (CHOUPO-MOTING 63)

Choupo-Moting heads home from a corner after Jones fails to properly mark his man.

This is turning into a great game!

Pogba’s snapshot is pushed behind for a corner by Butland.

Still, there’s no let up in the pace of this game.

Valencia goes on a surging run before firing a shot from well outside the area just wide.

The right-back has looked very sharp today.

Choupo-Moting beats his man before dragging a shot wide.

He’s looking very confident at the moment.

United make a double change.

Mata and Martial replace Rashford and Herrera.

Less than 20 minutes remain.

United are aiming to retain their 100% winning record.

Stoke make a change.

Berahino is on for Jese.

Shaqiri threatens to score directly from a corner.

His effort hits the side-netting ultimately.

Big chance!

Martial picks out Lukaku with a brilliant cross, but the Belgian international hits it well over on the half volley.

Allen heads Lukaku’s cross behind as the visitors break.

Meanwhile, Mkhitaryan has been replaced by Lingard for United’s final change.

Choupo-Moting gets a deserved man-of-the-match award.

On top of his goals, the attacker’s general play has been excellent.

There will be three minutes of stoppage time…

Jones heads on a corner, but Butland makes an excellent save.

Looks like United will have to settle for a point.

FULL-TIME: STOKE 2-2 MAN UNITED

Right, that’s all from me.
